Big Dog's Brewing Company is celebrating the release of three new beers available in package format for the very first time.

We love to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. We've been doing it up since our first St. Patrick's Day back in 1989. Corned Beef & Cabbage. Craft Beer Specials! Heck, we'll even make it Green, if you so desire! Irish Whiskey specials. Live Music. Did we mention that we love St. Patrick's Day?

Big Dog’s Brewing Company is pleased to announce an expansion of our already popular “Front Porch Thursdays” program for 2018’s Patio Season.  In addition to weekly live entertainment offered each and every Thursday night, we will be adding in special releases, tappings, guest tap takeovers, and charity events from March to November.

Big Dog’s Hospitality Group got into the brewing game back in 1993 when we opened Las Vegas’ original brewery at Holy Cow! Casino*Café*Brewery on the famous Las Vegas strip. In 2003, we moved the brewery operations to its current home at Big Dog’s Draft House in the northwest Las Vegas valley. 2018 is the “Year of the Dog” and we are celebrating the 25th year of Big Dog’s Brews with a series of special releases, tapping parties, commemorative merchandise, promotional initiatives, and celebration events.

Big Dog’s is pleased to announce charity tie-ins for the upcoming DOGtoberfest event that is taking place on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Big Dog’s Brewing Company in Las Vegas.  In addition to the traditional tie-in to raise money and awareness for the Animal Foundation, we are teaming up with Jameson Irish Whiskey for this year’s event and will also raise money for the Vegas Victims fund to assist the victims and impacted families that been touched by the recent mass hooting tragedy in Las Vegas.

This weekend’s DOGtoberfest is the 30th time we’ve thrown one of our on-site beer fests since 2010.  While some have been busier than others and some have had some crazy weather, they all pretty much have had the same set up.  At our last event in August, the lines were particularly long and many of the choke points that can occur when you have 1000-1500 people hanging out together were exacerbated.  Like what we do after each festival, our team sat down and re-thought where we thought there were choke points and where we thought we could easily improve things.  Many of these changes are being implemented with this weekend’s DOGtoberfest. Big Dog’s Brewing Company is pleased to host a charity fund raiser organized by the members of the Nevada Craft Brewers Association to raise funds for the Vegas victims.  The event, a Nevada Beer tap Takeover, will take place at Big Dog’s Brewing Company, 4543 N. Rancho Road, Las Vegas, NV 89130 on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 5 pm.  Many of Nevada’s brewing community are donating beer to be used to raise money for the victims of the Las Vegas shooting massacre on October 1, 2017. For a $5 donation per glass, patrons will be able to choose one of over 20 Nevada-made beers.  All proceeds will be donated to the Vegas Victims Fund.

Big Dog’s Brewing Company received a gold medal at the 2017 Great American Beer Festival (GABF) competition. Presented by the Brewers Association, GABF is the largest commercial beer competition in the world and recognizes the most outstanding beers produced in the United States. The top three winners in the competition’s 98 beer-style categories were announced October 7 at the Great American Beer Festival awards ceremony held at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.

We love this community and how it has come together in a time of crisis. We are so grateful to the first responders and the everyday heroes that stepped up Sunday night and helped save the lives of so many. We are also so appreciative of every person that has donated blood or cash to the victims. #VegasStrong
