3 CheersBig Dog’s Brewing Company is proud to announce its “Three Cheers for Charity” program that takes place each and every Thursday at each of Big Dog’s three Las Vegas locations.  This innovative program is a partnership between Big Dog’s and its Thursday guests.   Big Dog’s provides each customer that buys a Big Dog’s Brewing Company product a wooden nickel.  The guest then takes their wooded nickel and places their vote in a special ballot box by each exit door.  Big Dog’s feature three worthwhile charities each month.  The guest places their nickel in the slot of the charity that they want Big Dog’s Brewing Company to support.  Big Dog’s donates a quarter for each ballot.    Guests are encouraged to “feel great by doing good while drinking well!” The featured charities for the month of June 2010 are OV Youth Basketball, Nevada SPCA, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. About the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. LLS's mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.  Over the years, leukemia has taken the life of Big Dog's founder, Tom Wiesner, and one of its managers, Brian "Big Jake" Baumgartner.  Consequently, the cause of raising funds against leukemia has a great personal connection with many of Big Dog's employees.
