Big Dog’s to Join Nevada Brewers in Support of Camp Fire Victims with “Pints for Paradise” Event on December 14th
LAS VEGAS, Nevada, December 7, 2018 – Big Dog’s Brewing Company, Southern Nevada’s original craft brewery, today announced it is raising funds for the victims of Northern Nevada’s Camp Fire tragedy. Craft brewers across North America have joined together in a variety of ways to raise funds for the victims of the Northern California’s Camp Fire tragedy, one of the deadliest in the nation’s history. Big Dog’s is participating in the “Pints for Paradise” program organized by the Nevada Craft Brewers Association with participating breweries donating 20% of their tap room brew sales from Friday, December 14, 2018 to the cause.
Funds will be donated to the North Valley Community Foundation (Chico, CA) as part of the Resilience IPA effort organized by fellow craft brewer Sierra Nevada Brewery (Chico, CA). Across North America, over 1000 breweries recently brewed batches of the same Sierra Nevada Brewery “Resilience IPA” recipe and will be donating proceeds from sales at tap rooms across the country. Many of these batches will debut the weekend of December 14th, including several in Nevada (Craft Haus, Bad Beat, Tenaya, Hop Nuts, Revision Brewing, Lead Dog Brewing, Brewers Cabinet, and Shoe Tree Brewing).
Big Dog’s is adding to the efforts of raising money. Along with other members of the Nevada Craft Brewers Association, Big Dog’s is participating in the “Pints for Paradise” program and will donate 20% of its brewpub brewery sales on Friday, December 14th. In addition to the donation of beer sales from Friday, December 14, Big Dog’s will also be raffling off one of its 25th Anniversary collectible bottle sets. Tickets are just $1 and all proceeds go towards the donation. Tickets will be on sale for over one week at the brewpub (starting Friday, December 7th) and the winner will be drawn at the Big Dog’s Brewing Company Christmas Party on Saturday, December 15. The winner does not need to be present to win.
Together with breweries across Nevada and North America, we are hoping to give the Paradise, California community a solid start for the rebuilding effort that lies ahead.
