Nevada starts to allow businesses to more fully open after a winter of COVID-related restrictions (Updated 02/15/2021)
As adjusted on February 15, 2021, Sisolak’s “Statewide Pause” begins to loosen with changes to capacity limits and related issues. Big Dog’s Draft House will be operating under the restrictions described below. Please be patient and understanding with our staff as everyone is learning about these new requirements.
OUR TOP PRIORITY IS ALWAYS THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OUR GUESTS AND EMPLOYEES.
We pride ourselves on delivering the best experience to all our Big Dog’s family members in a safe environment. In this time of evolving news about the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to assure you that we remain committed to your health and safety. To that end, we are monitoring and following the public health recommendations of the World Health Organization, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding COVID-19, as well as local and state health departments in order to help ensure we maintain a healthy and safe environment for everyone who interacts with us at Big Dog’s. Our staff will be wearing face coverings at all times and practicing enhanced cleaning and sanitization throughout the facility.
As we transition to welcoming you back to our partially reopened facilities, we want to reassure you that we adhere to strict cleanliness and sanitization guidelines and procedures in our restaurant. Among many other procedures, our employees routinely and frequently clean and sanitize commonly touched surfaces, including countertops, booths, chairs, door handles and bathrooms.
Open 24 Hours with Limited Seating
We are still open 24 hours per day, but certain parts of the building will not be open 24 hours per day. In fact, seating has been reduced to 35% of our capacity. This means some tables in the building will not be available for seating and seating will fill up quickly during peak times. As of now, the indoor bar area tables are available 24/7 (Guests may call ahead for reservations, but they are not required) for our 21+ over guests. “Brewery Barn” hours are weekdays 3 pm – 9 pm and weekends 9 am – 9 pm for guests of all ages. Outdoor patio seating for guests of all ages is generally available daily 11 am – 8 pm. Management reserves all rights and may decide for tables to be unavailable based on occupancy loads.
All Entrances are Open! Please check in with the Host!
While all entrances are open, we ask that you please check in with the Host that is on-duty before sitting at an available, sanitized table. This will help us serve you better and make sure we are in compliance with occupancy load restrictions.
Call Ahead Reservations are Available, But are Not Required
To reserve indoor and outdoor seating, same day/call ahead service is available by calling 702-645-1404. We will take your cell phone number and text you when your table is ready. If the table is not claimed within 15 minutes of the notification, we will give it away to the next party waiting for a table. Tables that have not been reserved will be available for walk-in customers. We will have a wait list if all available tables are in use, we have reached our capacity limits, or if tables have been reserved for guests that have yet to arrive. There is no waiting in the building or on the patio. Check in with the host or by calling 702-645-1404. Please remain in your car until we can let you know that your table is ready.
Table Size is Limited to 6 People Per Table
Table sizes is limited to 6 patrons. Any more than that will require multiple tables, if available. We CANNOT combine multiple tables.
Food & Beverage Table Visits are Limited to 2 Hours
Restaurant tables are available for up to 2 Hours except for special events (i.e. televised Green Bay Packer football games). Background ambient music performances are allowed and may be scheduled for the benefit of patio food and beverage customers.
Masks are Required at all times
Per the Governor’s revised mandate, masks must be worn at all times in the building except when seated at a table with food and drink. If you would rather not wear your mask as required, we ask that you order for curbside pickup and/or hold off on visiting us until after the restrictions are lifted. In addition, our staff will always be wearing their masks or approved face shields.
All 35 Gaming Machines are Available
Because we have invested in the plexiglass dividers necessary, all our gaming devices are considered socially distant and are available for gaming play. Smoking is only allowed at the bar itself by active gaming customers. Food and beverage customers are encouraged to call ahead to 702-645-1404 for restaurant seating. Gaming Control Board regulations require that a mask be always worn by active gaming customers unless actively eating, drinking or smoking. Ask your bartender for our complimentary snacks.
Curbside Ordering is Available Daily 11 am – 8 pm
Our full menu is generally available for curbside ordering, including a full line up of Big Dog’s Brews cans, growlers, and crowlers. Upon your order being placed, we will send you a text and direct you to pick up your order from our designated curbside pick up spots in the Northwest corner of our building. Some items are only available if ordered onsite, including specials, promotions and the Weekend Brunch menu.
3rd Party Delivery Services are also a Great Option
Our full menu is generally available for delivery from the third party partners such as Uber Eats, Postmates, and GrubHub. Please refer to your third-party delivery partner of choice for available menus, hours and prices. Some items are not offered through the delivery services, including specials, promotions, and breakfast menu. Also, be aware that prices are higher through the delivery services. Limiting Exposures to Surfaces Touched By Others
We are limiting your exposure to surfaces touched by others, including providing condiments like ketchup and mustard on request in a side dish instead of having community bottles on the table. While we will be serving you on our plates and with our silverware (cleaned and sanitized between uses), we will gladly serve you with our disposable to-go containers and with plastic silverware, upon your request. While we offer refills on your soft drinks, we will not refill your actual glass. Instead, we will provide a new glass for each refill.
Growlers & Crowlers of Big Dog’s Brews are Available
Growlers will be sold with new glass only via curbside. However, growlers can be refilled if you bring the growler inside and see the bartender on duty. We will clean and sanitize your growler before filling; please be patient as this takes a few minutes. We also now have 32 oz. "Crowler" cans available for sale.
