Las Vegas' Original Brewery

charity programs

& local causes

Big Dog’s takes seriously its role as your neighborhood brewpub.  In the tradition of the great public houses in history, Big Dog’s Draft House is a place where people gather, tell jokes, listen to music, cheer for their favorite teams, raise a pint, share and celebrate. We are proud to be Las Vegas’ original brewing company and we take great pleasure in serving you. We love to support the community and the many great things that happen in Southern Nevada. Our approach to charitable giving is based on a steady stream of activities and promotions where small, consistent donations add up to larger support over time.

Here’s just a sampling of the organizations we support:

  • Three Square Food Bank
  • Keep Memory Alive/Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health
  • Patrick Kelley Youth Foundation
  • Candlelighters Nevada
  • The Animal Foundation
  • Susan G. Komen Southern Nevada
  • Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
  • Candlelighters
  • Nevada Public Radio

Las Vegas Craft Lager

In 2015, Big Dog’s Brewery and Southern Wine and Spirits partnered to launch a new, locally made, craft beer called Las Vegas Craft Lager. Las Vegas Craft Lager is a classic American-style lager. Lightly hopped, crisp, and clean; this beer is designed for a town that is always on the go. Las Vegas Craft lager is widely available throughout Southern Nevada at bars, restaurants, resort souvenir shops, and other fine retailers.

Whenever this crisp, golden, American Style Lager beer (5%ABV) is sold, a portion of the proceeds are donated to the local charity Keep Memory Alive supporting the Cleveland Clinic’s Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas. 100% of donations to Keep Memory Alive support Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, which provides care to patients with memory and movement disorders.

Keep Memory Alive is committed to improving the lives of patients and their families as they navigate the extraordinary challenges of brain disorders. In Las Vegas, the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health treats patients with Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s and Parkinson’s disease, as well as frontotemporal dementia and multiple sclerosis. The Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health’s treatment programs are designed to provide excellent care and to respect the dignity of patients and their families. Research helps to advance Cleveland Clinic’s groundbreaking clinical trials and offers hope for improving brain health. www.keepmemoryalive.org

Three Square Community Food Bank

Big Dog’s is a proud supporter of Three Square, Southern Nevada’s community food bank. Three Square is a Feeding America affiliate, serving four counties in Southern Nevada: Clark, Nye, Lincoln and Esmeralda. Three Square and Feeding America estimate the number of food-insecure persons in our service area to be 305,000. Food insecurity occurs when people aren’t able to secure enough food for a healthy diet and active lifestyle, at some point during the year. Three Square sources food, raises funds, and relies on volunteers to help supply its program partners with the food and services they need to provide wholesome food directly to hungry people in hundreds of neighborhood locations in all four counties. Three Square has a service network of community partners including nonprofits, schools, shelters, meal programs, SNAP outreach sites, etc.

On-Site Festivals

four festivals, four charities

We’re all about a good party here at Big Dog’s. In addition to our year-round beer tastings, tapping parties, Brew School celebrations and Brewmaster dinners, Big Dog’s Brewing Company also plays host to several onsite beer and food festivals. These beer-centric festivals have become annual affairs that our loyal followers look forward to every year.  Each festival is also a fund raiser for a great local charity where $1 from each festival packaghe sold is donated to the featured charity.
